Stepping the right steps in positive living, ‘Aspiration’, a newly formed forum for women from 25 to late 40s, laid a benchmark in establishing the fact that ladies have the complete right to relive their vivacious, cheerful, merry and pampered moments even under the heavy load of responsibilities of day to day life.

The pre-new year bash organised by Aspiration club at Silver Noodle Bar, Sector-26 Chandigarh, proved to be an enthralling event for all the Ladies present at the occasion. It had been one of the most mesmerising events as the theme of the event was based on Dev Anand starer super hit movie ‘Hare Rama, Hare Krishna’. It was a fusion of traditional Krishna and Zeenat Amaan of the above film.

Suiting the milieu and the theme for the party, the ladies were greeted with a Tilak on their fore-head and garlands around their neck. Saffron coloured Kurtis, which were brought from Mathura having ‘Hare Rama, Hare Krishna’ printed all over it, were given to the ladies. The preparations set a stage for the memorable party that was just to begin.

Various performances marked the show that included a group performance highlighting the features of Radha and Krishna which was performed by Mini, Sarika, Kaajal, Sonia, Meenu, Monika, Neepa and Kanika. A solo performance by Ami and Gaganpreet was also a part of the celebrations. Prizes were given under the titles of ‘best dressed’ and ‘best dancer’. Another prize was given on the basis of a lucky draw to the members who attended all the last six programmes. The prize distribution was followed by cake cutting ceremony.

Mini, an enthusiastic member and a participant of all the previous six events sharing her experience said, “I have not many words to say, but just to cut it short I want to say that I am enjoying my life like never before.”

Ms Monica Singhal, founder member, Aspiration club, on the occasion said, “As I mentioned earlier, Aspiration is here to build a bond of friendship that will provide women ample occasions through which they will be able to cherish and rejuvenate their treasured moments.” Same feelings were echoed by Ms Sarika Singhal and Ms Neepa Arora, co-founders of the Club. “All the Ladies practicing for the group performance had a gala time. ‘Aspiration’, is an endeavour, a step and a ray of hope which aims to add more meanings to the women’s lives,” added Ms. Sarika and Ms. Neepa.
